This is dedicated to a few people, who? its not important...
The Tide Rises, the Tide Falls
The tide rises, the tide falls,
The twilight darkens, the curlew calls;
Along the sea-sands damp and brown
The traveller hastens toward the town,
And the tide rises, the tide falls.
Darkness settles on roofs and walls,
But the sea, the sea in the darkness calls;
The little waves, with their soft, white hands,
Efface the footprints in the sands,
And the tide rises, the tide falls.
The morning breaks; the steeds in their stalls
Stamp and neigh, as the hostler calls;
The day returns, but nevermore
Returns the traveller to the shore,
And the tide rises, the tide falls.
~ Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
I feel so easily forgotten these days. So many people have come and gone.
You are the shore.
I am the traveller.
The tide is time.
I am gone, your life goes on, and i am the only one who holds the memories of us that the tide has so easily erased from your mind.
I will never forget everything our friendship was. I will never forget all the meaningful talks and all the wonderful memories we have. I never thought that things would change, but they did, and i am the only one left feeling empty....
